Reyer Confirms Spahija Plan; A Possible Replacement for RJ Cole Emerges

Neven Spahija remains head coach of Reyer Venezia: after reaching the LBA finals last season, the Croatian coach—who joined the team in 2023—will be confirmed for another two years at the helm of the Venetian team. Dismissing rumors from Spain about his uncertain future, Reyer has opted for continuity and can now focus on building the roster for next season.
While Tessitori, Parks, Bowman, and Wiltjer are expected to remain with the team, the situation regarding RJ Cole—who is being targeted by several EuroLeague clubs, including Milan—needs to be clarified. In Italy, the point guard has also caught the eye of Napoli.
Reyer aims to retain him with a two-year contract but is already evaluating a possible replacement: according to *La Nuova Venezia*, among the names being considered is Ike Iroegbu, who has performed well for Varese this season.
Among the possible new signings for the ambitious Venetian club are Moses Wood, currently a forward for German champion Alba Berlin; Christian Vital, who is leaving Derthona; and Hunter Hale, currently in Turkey, who is also being pursued by Varese.
