Michele Di Gregorio’s performance last season was certainly not impressive, and Juventus is looking to sign a new goalkeeper. Giovanni Carnevali has been evaluating several candidates, and the possibility of signing Zion Suzuki has recently resurfaced.

The Japanese goalkeeper performed well for Parma last season and made a strong impression at the World Cup; it’s no surprise, then, that several clubs are interested in signing him. In addition to Juventus, Aston Villa and Leeds are also in the mix, with the Peacocks reportedly already having an offer of around 30 million euros ready.

Should the Suzuki deal fall through, Juventus would turn to Guglielmo Vicario, who faces competition from Kinsky at Tottenham. The spotlight is also on veteran Martin Dúbravka and Roma’s Mile Svilar, although the Giallorossi will do everything they can to keep their star player.

Recently, a legendary former Juventus player, Carlos Tevez, had some strong words for Luciano Spalletti: “I saw that Juve didn’t make it to the Champions League—what a disaster. They’ll have to rebuild all over again. Spalletti? I don’t like him because he lacks passion. Conte has passion. I like people who have passion. Put Conte in charge of the national team and he’ll know how to bring it out. You have to develop good players yourselves.”
