SKY WHAT’S NEXT: Sky and NOW Unveil Their New Features and Upcoming Season

The programming schedules for the new season on Sky and NOW, along with all the upcoming highlights from Sky Sport over the next few months, were unveiled in Milan. A new, exciting season is on the way at SKY’S HOME OF SPORTS, featuring over 15,000 hours of live coverage and more than 3,000 events. From soccer to motorsports, from tennis to basketball, including volleyball, rugby, golf, track and field, and much more. SKY SPORT’S ITALIAN SUMMER continues, with exclusive coverage of Wimbledon (through 2030) currently underway, leading up to the U.S. Open in late August.
Top-tier soccer takes center stage this summer with major friendly matches between top Italian and international clubs and the season’s first trophy, the European Super Cup between PSG and Aston Villa—exclusively on Sky Sport—a preview of the new season featuring over 2,000 matches and more than 4,000 hours of live coverage across EUROPEAN CUP COMPETITIONS—with major new programming initiatives that will further enrich the coverage—as well as national and international leagues.
NON-STOP MOTORSPORTS: from July to November, over 25 Grand Prix races across F1 and MotoGP, along with Superbike, IndyCar, WRC, and many other championships that round out Sky’s extensive motorsports lineup. Sky Sport’s original productions continue: coming soon, the new Sky Original dedicated to one of the most iconic figures in Juventus history: GIAMPIERO BONIPERTI. THE ONLY THING THAT MATTERS. And among the new features, Italian Formula 1 champion KIMI ANTONELLI WILL BE SKY’S SUPER SPOKESPERSON alongside Alessandro Del Piero in the new campaign.
On Sky and streaming on NOW, sports never stop: the major live events of the Italian Summer continue, as we look forward to the new season with over 15,000 hours of live coverage and more than 3,000 events at the “Home of Sports.” From soccer to motorsports, from tennis to basketball, including volleyball, rugby, golf, track and field, and much more, Sky Sport reaffirms its status as a solid go-to source for the comprehensiveness and variety of its sports coverage.
Anticipation is building for the return of soccer leagues, with over 2,000 matches coming up and more than 4,000 hours of live coverage. The European Cups take center stage, continuing to air on Sky and NOW through 2031—the UEFA Champions League (185 of 203 matches per season exclusively) and all matches of the UEFA Europa League and UEFA Conference League exclusively—with significant new features in the editorial coverage. Meanwhile, summer friendlies kick off in July, while August brings the first trophy of the season with the UEFA Super Cup between PSG and Aston Villa, exclusively on August 12, before the national leagues resume with Serie A on Enilive (3 out of 10 matches per round on a co-exclusive basis) and Serie C on Sky Wifi. The action continues with exclusive coverage of the top Premier League and Bundesliga matches.
Tennis will also take center stage, with Sky broadcasting its major events leading up to the Nitto ATP Finals in November: from Wimbledon—currently underway and broadcast exclusively through 2030—to the US Open coming up in late August, plus 45 tournaments across the ATP Tour and WTA Tour from July through November. Sky Sport’s big summer also features four European Championships—athletics, swimming, and women’s and men’s volleyball—as well as the Women’s Basketball World Cup in September and many other live events, ensuring another great season of sports with plenty of Italian champions on the field.
The engines never stop: through the end of the year, over 25 Grand Prix races are on the calendar for Formula 1 and MotoGP, along with Sky’s extensive motorsport coverage. There will also be extensive coverage of continental volleyball, track and field meets, international rugby, sailing—including the America’s Cup preliminary races ahead of the competition’s spring kickoff—and major golf tournaments. Coming soon is also a new documentary film—a Sky Original produced by Sky Sport in collaboration with Sky Documentaries—dedicated to one of the most iconic figures in Italian sports: Giampiero Boniperti. The only thing that matters. And from the world of motorsports comes some exciting news: Kimi Antonelli will serve as a Sky brand ambassador alongside Alessandro Del Piero for the launch of the new campaign.
