Dinamo Sassari Adds a New Big Man: Contract Signed

On Thursday, Dinamo Sassari officially announced the signing of Bryce Nze, an American big man with a Nigerian passport born in 1998, who will be available to his new team for the 2026–2027 Serie A2 season. A standout player in the NCAA from 2019 to 2022 with the Butler University Bulldogs, Nze has already experienced European basketball, having played in Spain for Lleida, in Bulgaria for Chernomorets Burgas, and in France for Nantes and Pau-Lacq-Orthez, earning promotion to the top division with the latter club.
“Dinamo seemed like the right choice to me right from the start,” Nze told the Sardinian club’s official channels. “It’s a club with a great tradition and an important history, accustomed to competing at the highest levels. Joining this project is a challenge I’ve embraced with great enthusiasm. To the fans, I can say that they’ll find a player who works hard every day, who puts his basketball skills at the service of the team, and who strives to contribute in every aspect of the game.”
“For next season, I want to continue growing as a player and, above all, win,” he added. “We have a completely new team, and it will be crucial to find the right chemistry right away to get off on the right foot. The goal is to build something meaningful together and go all the way.”
“We’re confident he’ll fit in perfectly with Brooks, Aromando, and Nobili,” commented Dinamo’s sports director, Paolo Citrini, speaking about Nze. “He’s a player who can play both power forward and center; he brings great energy, and I’m convinced our fans will appreciate his style of play. He had other significant offers, but he chose our project, and that makes us particularly proud.”
