Record-breaking Wimbledon on Sky: It’s the best edition ever

The best Wimbledon tournament ever comes to a close on Sky’s “Casa dello Sport,” with an average of 5.8 million unique viewers over the two weeks of the 139th edition of the Championships.
The final between Jannik Sinner and Alexander Zverev, airing Sunday at 5 p.m. on Sky Sport Uno, Sky Sport Tennis, Sky Sport 4K, and TV8, drew an average total audience of over 4,215,000 viewers, with a 33.8% share and 9,800,000 unique viewers. Viewership peaked during the final moments of the match, with an average total audience of 5,872,000 viewers and a 40.5% share.
Specifically, on Sky, the Italian player’s second consecutive victory at the London tournament drew an average total audience of 1,367,000 viewers, with an 11% share and over 3 million unique viewers. On TV8, the match was watched by an average total audience of 2,849,000 viewers, with a share of nearly 23% and 7,776,000 unique viewers.
The post-match show also delivered excellent ratings, with the “Sky Tennis Show” on Sky and TV8 attracting an average total audience of 1,687,000 viewers, with an 11% share.
The Wimbledon final also posted excellent numbers on Sky Sport’s web and social media channels.
