Fabio Di Giannantonio Is Ready to Give It His All at Misano

Fabio Di Giannantonio arrives at Misano determined to bounce back from a difficult Aragon GP and return to the top of the standings. The Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team rider will be able to count on the support of the home crowd at one of the most important events of the season for the Tavullia-based team.
The Roman rider heads into the San Marino and Rimini Riviera Grand Prix in fourth place in the overall standings with 208 points, 48 points behind the leader and 24 points behind the top three. This position makes it particularly important to achieve a strong result this weekend in Romagna.
Misano is also a track where Di Giannantonio has already enjoyed considerable success. In Moto3, he secured two consecutive third-place finishes, in 2017 and 2018, while in 2019 he finished second in Moto2, completing a streak of three consecutive podium finishes. Last year, he also took third place in the MotoGP Sprint.
The number 49 rider draws confidence from these positive results and the data collected last season, along with insights gained during the challenging weekend at Aragon.
“We’re really fired up for Misano,” said the Roman rider. “It’s our home race, and we have to push as hard as we can. The home crowd, family, and friends always give us that extra motivation to do even better. We’re coming to Misano with some excellent data from last year, when we were really strong. This certainly makes our job easier, but the insights we gained from the Aragon weekend—which wasn’t easy—will also be useful. We’re ready and can’t wait to race in front of our home crowd.”
