Jasmine Paolini, like Jannik Sinner, was invited to perform at the “Paperoni” event

Following the cryptic message posted a few days ago by Jasmine Paolini on social media, new details have finally emerged about the exhibition event in which the Italian player will participate during the Christmas season in Seoul, South Korea. The event is “The Six,” a tournament billed as a sort of women’s version of the Six Kings Slam, in which Jannik Sinner has become a regular participant.
From December 26 to 28, six of the world’s top female tennis players will compete: Elena Rybakina of Kazakhstan, Aryna Sabalenka of Belarus, Iga Swiatek of Poland, Mirra Andreeva of Russia, Naomi Osaka of Japan, and, of course, Italy’s Jasmine Paolini. Since this is an exhibition tournament, the event will not award points toward the WTA rankings.
No further details about the event have been announced at this time. However, everything suggests that the format will mirror that of the men’s Six Kings Slam, with the six participants taking part in a competition designed primarily for the audience and entertainment.
The South Korean venue that will host the event and the prize money for the players remain to be announced; the prize money will, in any case, be lower than that of the men’s tournament, which guarantees millions to Sinner, Alcaraz, and their teammates.
