Jannik Sinner doesn’t hold back on Fabio Fognini and Simone Bolelli
Sinner commented on the Davis Cup doubles victory.
The day after Italy’s victory in the Davis Cup quarterfinals against the United States, the great absentee Jannik Sinner, through his Instagram profile, commented on the Azzurri’s success, placing special emphasis on the final point won by the doubles pair formed by Fabio Fognini and Simone Bolelli, against the U.S. duo consisting of Jack Sock and Tommy Paul.
The young South Tyrolean tennis player did not hold back and expressed all his joy at the passage of the round, writing, “Always outstanding.”
In the other quarterfinal matches, Lorenzo Musetti was defeated in two sets by Fritz while Lorenzo Sonego managed to overcome, with a great performance, Frances Tiafoe.
Now in the semifinals, scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 26, for Italy there is the obstacle represented by Felix Auger-Aliassime’s Canada. In the other match Australia and Croatia will face each other for a place in the final on Sunday, November 27.
