On Tuesday night, Inter will return to Champions League action against Club Brugge; kickoff is at 9 p.m. at San Siro Stadium. In the first round of the competition, the Nerazzurri lost to Real Madrid and will be looking to bounce back against the Belgians—and to send a message to Shakhtar Donetsk, their next opponent in the Champions League.

In defense, Chivu is sticking with only Yann Bisseck; Pavard and Carlos Augusto will be replaced by Akanji and Bastoni. Diouf and Dimarco will man the flanks, with Barella, Calhanoglu, and Zielinski in the middle. Lautaro Martinez, who came off the bench against Parma, will return to the starting lineup alongside Marcus Thuram.

Club Brugge lost their Champions League opener against Aston Villa, but two of the three goals they conceded were the result of serious errors by Yann Sommer, who will nonetheless start against his former team.

Playing in front of the Swiss goalkeeper will be Sabbe, Mechele, Lee, and Seys. Potts and Vetlesen will be tasked with shielding the Nerazzurri’s attacks, while Forbs, Vanaken, and Virgili will be in the attacking midfield supporting center forward Tresoldi.
