Soccer Players 2026–2027: Panini Unveils Its New Sticker Collection

This morning, at the Lega Calcio Serie A’s Iliad International Broadcast Center, a press conference was held to unveil the new “Calciatori 2026-2027” collection. Many guests attended, including Lega Calcio Serie A President Ezio Simonelli, CEO Luigi De Siervo, Panini CEO Ivam Faria, and Panini Collectibles Italy Market Director Martina Limoni. Also in attendance were AIAC President Renzo Ulivieri, AIC President Umberto Calcagno, Lega Calcio Serie A Ambassador Francesco Totti, and special guest Fabrizio Romano.

The 2026–2027 edition strengthens the deep bond between Italian soccer and the world of trading cards. The event was preceded by the announcement of a multi-year renewal of the partnership between Lega Calcio Serie A and Panini, reflecting a mutual respect and trust rooted in decades of shared success. Now in its 66th edition, the official Panini sticker collection showcases the very best of Italian soccer. The new album is scheduled to launch on October 20, 2026, and the collection will feature 589 stickers dedicated to Serie A Enilive, Serie B, and Serie C, in addition to the now-established “Calciatori Upgrade” and “Calciatori Celebration” sections.

There are numerous new features in an album designed to be increasingly intergenerational, with the goal of bringing together fans and collectors of all ages through the story of soccer’s past, present, and future. Among the most anticipated sections is the “Time Capsule,” entirely dedicated to some of the legends who have shaped the history of our league. It’s a true window into the past, allowing us to rediscover the champions who inspired entire generations. From Maradona to Baresi, from Ronaldo to Pirlo, each Calciatori Panini “Time Capsule” celebrates 20 Serie A legends, preserving their iconic and unforgettable stickers within a new collectible sticker. A format designed to tell the story of an era and bring back to the field the feats that helped shape the history of Italian soccer.

While the “Time Capsule” celebrates the great champions of the past, the “New Wave” section looks to the future, with a section dedicated to the young talents of the Enilive Serie A teams. The spotlight will be on players who have come up through the youth academies and are ready to take the Italian soccer scene by storm. Each sticker will mark a first step, a debut to cherish that, as the years go by, could become a little treasure for every collector.  Rookies waiting to be discovered and dreams just beginning: today they’re promising prospects; tomorrow they could become champions. The new section thus aims to highlight those players who are making their way into the big leagues and who could become the stars of the coming seasons.

There’s no shortage of surprises for Fantasy Soccer fans. The new collection introduces “extra stickers”—40 special stickers dedicated to the most iconic young stars of the game most loved by fantasy soccer managers. The album features a double-page spread where you can stick the extra stickers and use the duplicate stickers to recreate your ideal starting eleven. The initiative will also involve the league: over the course of two matchdays, Panini stickers will replace the iconic player cards in the app, bringing the collection into the digital experience of fantasy soccer managers as well.
