Juventus: Double Blow for Luciano Spalletti—Two More Players Injured

Bad news for Juventus, which has lost both Zeki Celik and Nico Gonzalez at the same time. Medical tests conducted at J Medical confirmed that both players have suffered low-grade muscle injuries, forcing Luciano Spalletti to deal with two absences ahead of a particularly busy schedule.
The club itself announced the results of the tests after the two players reported physical issues following the Europa League match against Rennes. For Celik, the tests revealed a mild injury to his left hamstring. The Turkish winger had been forced to leave the field at halftime of the European match, after scoring a goal in the first half. The muscle pain had immediately raised concerns, which have now been confirmed by medical tests.
Nico Gonzalez has a different issue; he suffered a mild injury to his right soleus muscle. The Argentine also experienced muscle discomfort after the match against Rennes, necessitating further diagnostic tests. Both players have already begun their respective rehabilitation programs. Recovery times will be assessed based on their response to treatment, but it is certain that they will not be available before the November international break.
The dual absence poses a problem for Spalletti, who will have to do without the two players in Juventus’ upcoming matches. Celik and Nico Gonzalez will miss the league matches against Lecce, Genoa, and Napoli, as well as the games against AZ Alkmaar in Europe and Fiorentina. The Juventus coach will therefore have to rethink his lineup choices during a phase of the season marked by closely spaced matches and the need to manage the squad’s energy levels. For both players, the goal will be to recover without rushing things during the November break, with their return depending on how their injuries progress.
