PSG is also looking to Serie A to replace Kvaratskhelia: two more names have been added to the Parisians’ list

Paris Saint-Germain announced that Khvicha Kvaratskhelia successfully underwent surgery at Aspetar Hospital in Doha, Qatar, following a tear of the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee. The Georgian will now begin his rehabilitation following the serious injury he sustained in the Champions League match against Barcelona.
The absence of the former Napoli player is likely to have a major impact on Luis Enrique’s plans. Although the club has not provided an official timeline for his return, a very long layoff is expected—so much so that the Parisian management is carefully evaluating opportunities on the transfer market, given that the prospects of seeing Kvara back on the field this season are currently very slim.
According to rumors circulating at the moment, the top name on PSG’s list is Estevao. The Brazilian talent, owned by Chelsea and considered one of the brightest prospects on the international scene, would be the ideal fit to bring quality, unpredictability, and long-term potential to the offense.
The French champions, however, aren’t limiting their search to the Premier League. In fact, Parisian scouts have reportedly stepped up their monitoring of Serie A, where they have their eyes on two young players on the rise. The first is Martin Baturina, an attacking midfielder for Como with great technique and vision, who is currently living up to all the expectations placed on him. The other name circled in red is Alphadjo Cissé, a Milan prospect who continues to attract admirers among Europe’s top clubs.
For now, these are merely preliminary inquiries, but the void left by Kvaratskhelia’s injury will certainly accelerate PSG’s deliberations. With a long season still ahead and ambitious goals on all fronts, the Paris-based club must find new solutions to maintain its competitiveness following the severe setback caused by the Tbilisi-born star’s injury.
