Bayern Munich hosts rival Borussia Dortmund on Saturday at 6:30 p.m. at the Allianz Arena in a high-profile matchup for Matchday 8 of the Bundesliga. The “Klassiker” will decide who takes the top spot in the standings, with both teams tied at 17 points and still undefeated in the league. All eyes are on Harry Kane, set to take the field fresh off winning the Ballon d’Or: the English forward will be one of the most anticipated stars of a match that will be broadcast live on TV in Italy as well, on Sky Sport channels and via streaming on Now.

Bayern will also have to cope with the absence of Vincent Kompany from the bench, as he is still recovering after being hospitalized: assistant coach Aaron Danks will lead the team. As for the lineup, Neuer has not recovered from his foot injury and will be replaced by Urbig, while Musiala, Luis Diaz, and Bara Ndiaye also remain sidelined. Kimmich, however, has returned to the squad and could start the match. Up front, the newly crowned Ballon d’Or winner Kane will lead the attack, supported by Olise and Saibari.

Borussia Dortmund is expected to stick with a 3-4-2-1 formation, with Guirassy leading the attack and Bellingham and Chukwuemeka providing support. In midfield, the battle between Veerman and Sabitzer remains up in the air, while Karetsas could return to the squad. Emre Can, Konstantelias, and Lerma are still out.
