The Lombardy volleyball community is in shock over the sudden passing of Alessandro Padalino

Mourning in the world of volleyball: the FIPAV Milan-Monza-Lecco regional delegation announced in an official statement the sudden passing of referee Alessandro Padalino.
“President William Aimar, the Regional Council, and the Referees’ Commission were deeply shocked to learn of the sudden passing of our region’s referee, Alessandro Padalino, who was only 55 years old,” reads the Committee’s official statement. “Our hearts go out to his wife and his entire family, and we offer our deepest condolences.”
To honor the memory of Alessandro Padalino, FIPAV Milano Monza Lecco has decreed that a minute of silence will be observed before the start of all regional matches through November 6.
