Lecce, Marco Baroni armors a Giallorossi jewel
Baroni armors a Giallorossi jewel
Marco Baroni gave a lengthy interview to TuttoMercatoWeb in which among other topics he armored a jewel of the Giallorossi club.
The coach of the Salento club began this way, ahead of the resumption of the championship: “I do not like to talk about the unknown even if it was an anomalous thing for everyone. Now the market will come and there are those who will take advantage of this session, Lecce’s thoughts only go to working to improve the players we have. Our market is in there. We have an attentive society, my task and that of the team is to work to make us ready for a restart that is not easy. We are a young group, these challenges stimulate us. These four matches will be important, we have direct clashes that will also determine that. I think race by race, winning is very complicated for small teams in this league.”
Then he talked about the market, not being worried by the attentions of the major European clubs on Joan Gonzalez: “The path of Lecce is this, the strategy is to work on young people to bring them to the attention of the big clubs. I knew about Joan, we had him in the house, he was ready at the right time, managing to seize the opportunity with mentality and serenity. I am happy, he has to work his head off but he does it because he is a serious guy.”
Finally, he armored a Giallorossi jewel, Morten Hjulmand: “The club will not deprive themselves of him now and it is right, also for the boys to start a new path from the beginning of the season. I coach them and I know they have the maturity for important stages because they win everything with work.”
