Inter, Calhanoglu makes fans dream: “I have a special feeling”

Former Milan man makes Inter fans dream.

It took little for Hakan Calhanoglu to become appreciated by Inter fans after switching sides. The Turkish midfielder was one of the best in the past season and in the current one he is lending a big hand: in fact, he has been used several times as a deputy Brozovic during periods of the Croatian’s absence.

The former Bayer Leverkusen and AC Milan among others spoke during an interview with ‘Il Corriere della Sera’ letting himself go with statements that make the fans of the vice-champion club of Italy dream: “Winning the Champions League is one of my dreams. This year I believe in it. I don’t really know why, I have a special feeling. We got through a difficult round. We got back up after the defeat to Bayern by showing what we are capable of. Porto is a strong team, but if we play like we did against Barcelona we can go through.”

Then a comment on Lautaro Martinez, fresh world champion with Argentina in Qatar: “I am happy for Lautaro: we are friends, I know how much he cared about the World Cup. We are waiting for him in Appiano as world champion to celebrate it all together.”
