Genoa prepares to challenge for a young talent
Genoa is looking for reinforcements to give to Gilardino
Genoa’s surveys continue ahead of the market window that will open on Jan. 2 and end on the 31st of the first month of the year. Gilardino’s first results have been satisfactory, but the Rossoblù management hopes to give reinforcements to the new coach in order to aim for direct promotion.
After the officialdom of the arrival of Uruguayan defender Alan Matturro and the probable return of Domenico Criscito, the Ligurian club seems to have no intention of stopping.
The latest idea is for the three-quarter: it is the young talent from the Czech Republic owned by Slavia Praga Ondrej Lingr. The 1998-born player, who has gone through the entire youth national team and made his debut with the senior national team in 2022, has a contract expiring in the summer of 2024.
Genoa, however, is not the only club that could be interested in the former Karvina, in fact a number of Premier League clubs have also moved to inquire about the trequartista.
