Mattia Binotto regrets Sebastian Vettel’s time at Ferrari
A champion now retired, and already being regretted.
Sebastian Vettel said goodbye to Formula 1 in 2022, the year at the end of which he retired as a driver. And, barring a possible return to Red Bull in a management or ambassadorial role, the Circus is already starting to miss him before the new season even begins. This is clear, among others, from the words of someone who knew him very well at Ferrari: Mattia Binotto.
“In Ferrari he stayed for six years, and they were all extremely important,” Binotto, who has reached an agreement with the Cavallino to take at least a year away from the circuits, revealed to the official Formula 1 website. “We were very lucky to have him in our team. And every one of our fans still loves him. I think I can call this a fact.”
“Vettel has brought a lot to Ferrari. He has done so with his qualities as a driver, but above all with his human qualities,” Binotto added. “We have experienced truly incredible seasons with him.
