Monza in the sign of Caprari: victory with thrill in Cremona
Monza ok with a thrill: Cremonese beaten
Victory with final thrill for Monza, which, ahead 3-0, cashed in two goals from Cremonese but managed to avoid a comeback by the hosts.
Unlocking the result was Ciurria, who took advantage of a general sleep of the home defense in the 8th minute and slotted in Carnesecchi. Cremonese fails to react and on 19′ cashes the second goal: Ghiglione lands Izzo in the area, for the referee it is all regular but after the Var review he corrects himself and awards the penalty. From 11 meters Caprari comes up and makes no mistake and scores 2-0.
Cremonese poured forward but conceded their third goal in minute 55: a nice cross by Petagna and a winning paw by Caprari, who gave himself a personal double. Alvini’s band finally has a reaction of pride and attacks head-on: in the 67th minute it shortens the distance with Ciofani and in the 83rd minute it doubles with Dessers. In the last minutes the Brianzoli are good at repelling the opponent’s attacks thus taking home the 3 points.
