Jannik Sinner: a reinforcement arrives from Virtus Bologna
Jannik Sinner, major change within staff
Jannik Sinner, currently number 17 in the world, will return to the court during the ATP 250 in Montpellier, where he will try to continue his climb back to the top ten ranking, which he has been missing since September 2022 when he reached the tenth position.
In addition, another news related to the South Tyrolean tennis player concerns a change within his staff. In fact, as pointed out by Gazzetta dello Sport, the 2001 class has decided to part ways after about eight months with his now former physiotherapist Jerome Bianchi. Giacomo Naldi, who held the same position at Virtus Bologna for the past six seasons, has been hired as his replacement. The Casalecchio di Reno native has already worked with the player, as he helped him recover from his ankle injury in late October 2022.
Sinner’s last season in fact had been characterized on the one hand by good performances, especially in Grand Slam tournaments, and on the other by several physical problems that affected his performance.
