Sampdoria is scouring the free agent market in search of a central defensive player after the departure of Colley, who was not adequately covered.
According to the latest rumors coming out of Genoa, the blucerchiati market men have reportedly been offered Marios Oikonomou. The Greek, currently unemployed, has a past in Italy with the shirts of Bologna, Cagliari, Spal and Bari, and had already been approached by the Ligue club a few months ago.
His last experience was at Copenhagen. The Doriani could think about it even if the just 13 games he played in Denmark in the last two seasons raise some concerns.
