Genoa is already hard at work planning the next soccer market session by continuing in the vein of a long-term project to make the squad increasingly competitive.
Sporting director Marco Ottolini, in fact, is continuing to sound out the profiles of several young talents, and the name that is circulating with more insistence in the Rossoblù environment, as a possible graft for the 2023-2024 season, is that of Kristján Flóki Finnbogason, an Icelandic striker born in 1995 from KR Reykjavik. Reporting the interest in the young footballer is ‘Calcioline’.
For the Grifone it could represent a strategic blow, as the player’s current contract expires next October 16.
