A serious bereavement has struck the sports world of Rome’s 13th Municipality. Enrico Gandolfi, chairman of the Sports, School, Culture and Youth Policies Commission of the XIII Municipality-Aurelio, passed away suddenly. He was 39 years old.

“I express on behalf of myself, the President of CONI Lazio, Riccardo Viola, and the entire sports movement of the XIII Municipality the most sincere condolences, both human and institutional, for the passing of Enrico Gandolfi,” writes in a note the CONI trustee of the XIII Municipality of Roma Capitale, Antonio Ranalli, “In the last month I had seen Enrico several times, both on the occasion of the sports commission and for other initiatives. He was a prepared and helpful guy who had taken to heart the problems of the area’s sports clubs. In particular, he was dealing with a notice concerning sports and disability. His commitment, selflessness, long experience in scouting, associational commitment and experience as a city councilor, even at such a particular and difficult time, will be remembered by all.”
