F1, Marko mocks Ferrari: “The rival is someone else”
Red Bull executive stings Ferrari again
Red Bull executive Helmut Marko does not believe Ferrari will give Max Verstappen problems in Sunday’s race in Bahrain: “Our main rival for tomorrow is Alonso, according to our analysis of the long runs. Ferrari has too much tire degradation,” he told Sky. The Maranello team finished on the second row with both Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz.
“We achieved the goal thanks to a compromise in terms of set-up. Verstappen wanted pole, while the engineers were pushing for the right set-up for the race. In the end, we managed to achieve the goal.”
