F1: Fernando Alonso warns Red Bull, Ferrari and Mercedes

Fernando Alonso makes no secret of his ambitions

Fernando Alonso remains charged up almost a week after the brilliant weekend in Bahrain, and launches his very personal challenge to his rivals from the other top teams, Red Bull, Ferrari and Mercedes, ahead of not only the Saudi Arabian GP, but the rest of the season.

“Anything can happen in the next 22 races, each one with its own peculiarities and each one to be raced in different conditions,” are the words of the Spanish Aston Martin veteran, gathered by ‘Speedcafé’. i will do my best to earn the opportunity to come back and win.

“Maybe we will need favorable situations, last year to get on the podium we needed something to happen to the top teams – added Alonso, who was at the wheel of the Alpine last season -. Maybe, if those in front of us have some problems, more than one podium can come and who knows, even something more.”
