MotoGp, Austin: Bagnaia falls again, Rins wins. Marini on the podium
Alex Rins wins the Grand Prix of the Americas, returning Honda to the roof of the premier class after a 539-day fasting period. The Spanish centaur, in fact, takes advantage of Pecco Bagnaia’s fall, the second consecutive one after the one that took place at Termas de Rio Hondo, and wins his first victory with the Japanese team. A first is also for Luca Marini, who scores his first podium in MotoGp, finishing behind Rins. Completing the podium is a rediscovered Fabio Quartararo. Next up were the Aprilias of Maverick Vinales and Miguel Oliveira; sixth was Marco Bezzecchi, who remains the MotoMondiale leader.
