Camila Giorgi sheds light on knee trouble and thanks fans
Camila Giorgi on Instagram posted the exam report on her injured right knee in her match against Sherif in the first round of the WTA 1000 tournament in Madrid.
The tests confirmed an “osteochondral lesion in the central region of the femoral trochlea with a maximum longitudinal diameter of about 10 mm,” although recovery time is yet to be assessed. The Italian tennis player wanted to thank the fans for the many messages of affection, and also the doctors who had been treating her.
