Italian driver shares top World Championship spot with Acosta
In this Moto2 season, Arbolino is doing great. The Italian rider has won six podiums in the last eight races and, in the French GP, is aiming to make waves, also to distance himself from Acosta (at the moment they command, arm in arm, the riders’ standings on 74 points).
Arbolino has clear ideas: “The goal is to win the title, then clear I want MotoGP, because I feel like one of them, but I’m not thinking about it. Last year I was looking at it and rushing, now I’m not, I want to do well on my way. And if I do well, MotoGP will come,” his words to Gazzetta dello Sport. Arbolino knows that this must be the year of consecration.
