Honda LCR team centaur Nakagami will also have to miss the Australian Grand Prix
New stop for LCR Honda team centaur Takaaki Nakagami, who after missing the Thai Grand Prix in Buriram, will also be forced to forfeit the Australian race in Phillip Island.
The Japanese rider has not yet fully recovered from the operation he underwent after the Motegi Grand Prix, where he forced his already injured hand, forcing him to undergo subsequent surgery.
In his place, Lucio Cecchinello’s team will field Tetsuta Nagashima on the grid, while Nakagami hopes to recover ahead of the race in Malaysia.
