Max Verstappen makes no secret of his concern
Despite taking first place at the end of the second free practice session, just ahead of the Ferraris of Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz, Max Verstappen admits he had more than a few headaches on his first day on the track in Monte Carlo.
Indeed, on the sidelines of FP2, the Dutchman admitted some concern: “The second session went better than FP1,” he told ‘Sky Sport F1,’ “the car was much more competitive. Compared to the ferrari, however, we lack something in terms of driveability, it seems to go better in the slower corners and in the places where the asphalt surface changes.”
“We also need to work on these aspects,” added the two-time Formula 1 world champion, “because we are all very close: we need something more to stay ahead.
