Parma, for Fabio Pecchia there is a big difference from Cagliari
Fabio Pecchia’s words on the eve of Cagliari-Parma
Fabio Pecchia presented in a press conference the first leg of the Serie B playoff semifinals match that will see the Ducali engaged in Cagliari on Tuesday night.
“There were four games left, but there was great serenity. Tomorrow is the game, we are happy that we can play it,” he stressed. “We are in a part of the league with four teams playing with the other two for Serie A. The break was not long enough to affect us. The week gave us a chance to work.”
“In the last two years the environment in Parma has experienced complicated years. The newfound enthusiasm is a great pleasure. We are the youngest team and I want this youth as great lightheartedness that gives us desire and space to play. We have to keep the tiller straight,” continued the ducal coach.
“We face a strong team, it is a bit at the antipodes compared to Parma. However, we have to repeat what we have been doing, with serenity and the lightheartedness of wanting to play soccer. On the other side there are many players who have played this kind of game. Ours don’t have all that. But ours have other things: the desire to play, convinced that they have the same script and want to develop it. The fact that Cagliari has great experience we cannot change that,” Pecchia concluded.
