From Italy to Turkey, here’s how much the bomber will earn.
Edin Dzeko is no longer an Inter Milan player. His move to Fenerbahce became official on Thursday, June 22, and in the meantime the figures for the deal have also become official. In particular, the Istanbul club released in a statement the details of the contract that the striker will receive in the Turkish Superlig.
Dzeko has in fact signed a contract that will tie him to Fenerbahce for the next two seasons. In each of them he will earn as much as 4.2 million euros. In May there had been talk of his renewal with Inter Milan for 5 million a year, but with a deal valid for only one season.
“World-renowned striker Edin Dzeko will land in Istanbul to conduct medical examinations and complete transfer negotiations. Afterwards he will be presented to the public,” Fenerbahce had written. The Bosnian has spent the last eight seasons in Italy, six at Roma and two at Inter: 150 total goals in the Italian top league. He has two Italian Cups and two Italian Super Cups in his trophy cabinet and the title of Serie A top scorer in the 2016-2017 season.
