Ylenia Frezza, a streamer in stilettos
Ylenia Frezza is one of the most beloved FIFA streamers
Sportal.it exclusively interviewed Ylenia Frezza, one of the most beloved FIFA streamers. A big Roma fan, she revealed one of her small/big wishes.
You are a widely followed streamer, how much time do you devote to your work/passion?
“In the Covid-lockdown period, when I was just starting out, I was doing an average of 4/5 hours of live a day (every day) and spending at least another 3 hours organizing technical aspects, thinking about content, graphics and so on. Although it may not seem like it, much of this work is done “off stream.” As time went on, I reduced the stream hours a bit, keeping it around 3/4, to also focus on content beyond the purple platform (Instagram, Tik Tok…).”
What did you take away from your experiences at the stadium thanks to Betclic Apogee?
“The aspect that I am most grateful for and that has stuck with me the most was being able to experience most of the Italian fans so closely, sharing their same emotions and feelings. I got to watch all kinds of games: the Serie B, the national team, the Champions semifinal and many league games, and all of them in their own way were exciting. The one that stayed in my heart the most, however, was the Champions semifinal, Milan-Inter. There was a unique atmosphere that I will always carry inside me.”
If you had pursued a career as a soccer player, in which role would you have seen yourself best? And why?
“I probably would have played in defense given my height, perhaps central defender, but I would also likely have caused many penalties since, knowing me, I would not have gone lightly with confrontations. More precisely, if I had to identify myself as a footballer, I would be Roma’s Gianluca Mancini, even temperamentally on the field.”
A player you would like to see in the Italian league, perhaps at Roma?
“Dreaming big, and thinking of something almost unattainable to date, I would say Erling Haaland. It would be great to see him play in Italy and it would be a dream to see him in a Roma jersey. Thinking of something more feasible, on the other hand, and also bringing up the latest soccer market news, I really hope that Zaniolo comes back to play in Italy, regardless of which club he would end up at, because in my opinion it was a shame to let a player like him go.”
The TV series you have enjoyed most lately, a book you would recommend and a location you would like to see…
“Let’s just say that I prefer TV shows or documentaries to TV series, I’m not a big fan of movies and series, however, there are two in particular that I never tire of rewatching: Suits and Grey’s Anatomy. The book I am reading now is the biography of Francesco Totti and I highly recommend it, especially because it is written by a great pen that is Paolo Condò. One place I would like to see instead is America and in particular New York. I have visited almost all the European capitals but I have a fixation on America and sooner or later I would love to go!”
