Leonardo Spinazzola, firm renewal with Roma: Al-Ahli calls
Saudi sirens could materialize over the summer.
Leonardo Spinazzola has ended up at the center of Al-Ahli’s attention, and the hypothesis of his transfer to Saudi Arabia seems likely to materialize as the summer gets into full swing. In fact, the left-sided flanker’s contract with Roma expires in 2024 and, in the absence of any negotiations, his departure according to ‘Il Corriere dello Sport’ is all but ruled out.
According to the website of the capital newspaper, in fact, Roma has not yet got in touch with Spinazzola to negotiate his renewal. The Umbrian outfielder in fact earns more than 3 million per season, figures that the Giallorossi management would be reflecting on. This is putting the brakes on a negotiation against which admirers of the azure are starting to press.
Al-Ahli, which has already been on the player’s trail for a few days, appears to be in the lead. At the moment a real negotiation would not be there, and according to ‘Corsport’ on Spinazzola’s part there would still be only waiting. The matter, however, is described as delicate and “in the balance.”
