Paola Egonu will find the blue environment again

Paola Egonu’s name is also among the athletes summoned by Italvolley women’s coach Davide Mazzanti for a collegiate training camp in preparation for the August-September European Championships to be held from July 7 to 9 at the “Giulio Onesti” Olympic Preparation Center in Rome, in parallel with the Volleyball Nations League pre-finals retreat scheduled in Texas from July 12.

Along with Egonu will be Alessia Orro, Caterina Bosetti and Elena Pietrini. The four, as specified in a Fipav note, are not part of the list of the 14 summoned for the VNL, also issued on Monday by the Italian coach.

To the United States, in fact, will fly setters Francesca Bosio and Giulia Gennari, opposites Sylvia Nwakalor and Adhu Malual, setters Alice Degradi, Francesca Villani, Sofia D’Odorico, Loveth Omoruyi and Myriam Sylla, middle hitters Anna Danesi, Alessia Mazzaro and Federica Squarcini and freesmen Eleonora Fersino and Beatrice Parrocchiale.
