Giorgio Cittadini has been a Monza player since Tuesday, July 4. The 2002-class defender arrives on loan from Atalanta, which had already sent him to Modena last year to cut his teeth on a dry loan.
In Atalanta’s youth sector, Cittadini won a championship and two Super Cups. In Modena, on the other hand, he played 18 games, proving to be among the protagonists of the positive season of the Canarini’s return to Serie B, which ended the championship with a quiet salvation.
Cittadini also wore the jerseys of the Under 18, Under 20 and Under 21 national teams, and in December 2022 he was among the call-ups of the coach of the senior national team, Roberto Mancini, for an internship.
