Skip Juventus’ match with Barcelona
Juventus was supposed to play its first friendly of the season tonight at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, south of San Francisco, and was supposed to do so with Barcelona. But the match was skipped because a gastrointestinal virus affected much of the Blaugrana team.
The announcement came in a tweet from the Catalan club: “FC Barcelona informs here that the match against Juventus FC, scheduled for 7:30 p.m. today (4:30 a.m. Italian time, ed.) at Levi’s Stadium, as part of the Soccer Champions Tour, has been cancelled. A significant part of the Blaugrana team has been affected by a gastrointestinal virus.”
Therefore, the Bianconeri’s next match will be Thursday night and Friday at 4:30 a.m. Italian time against AC Milan at Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, also in California but near Los Angeles.
