Valentino Rossi bluntly on Pecco Bagnaia
Former MotoGp centaur Valentino Rossi in an interview with Dazn Spain spoke about his student Pecco Bagnaia, MotoGp world champion and current world championship leader.
“His character more introverted than mine? It brings out the best in him, because otherwise he trusts too much and ruins everything,” is the anticipation of the words of the nine-time world champion, who spoke at the microphones of the program ‘Bandera a cuadros’.
After the first part of the MotoGp season, Bagnaia has 35 points ahead of the second in the standings, Spaniard Jorge Martin: a completely different situation from a year ago, when he was 91 points away from the top after several crashes. The Ducati centaur also won the last GP in Assen before the stop: “He was great, at the end he was also the one with the most tires and he rode perfectly,” noted the Tavullia rider.
“I’ve always told him that he finishes well when he doesn’t start well,” the Doctor explained. Paradoxically, when he starts strong and takes pole position and dominates, then it often becomes all complicated for him.”
