Elias Ymer mocks Jannik Sinner and Matteo Berrettini

One of the undisputed stars of the Davis Cup qualifying rounds è Gabriel Diallo, number 158 in the ATP rankings. The Canadian tennis player, in fact, after beating Lorenzo Musetti in two sets on Tuesday, repeated himself against Swedish Elias Ymer, defeated 6-4 6-3. The latter, in a press conference, also spoke about court conditions, mocking Jannik Sinner and Matteo Berrettini.

"Well, the court è far too fast and if you consider that the response è my best shot and that, in spite of this, I was not able to win even a break ball…I would say that there’è nothing more to add" stressed the Swede.

 "Very fast è a pure understatement, it feels like playing on ice. What can I say (laughing, ed.), you picked her. But maybe you thought you could field Sinner and Berrettini" concluded Ymer.

Meanwhile, at 3 p.m. the Group A match between Italy and Chile will be staged, with the Azzurri already obliged to win to keep their hopes of qualification alive.
