Damian Lillard open-hearted about the future
During a talk on the "Back on Figg" Podcast, the Portland Trail Blazers All-Star è expressed himself in no uncertain terms about his future, which in all likelihood will be away from Oregon.
"I was not offended when they picked Scoot Henderson, I mean; another point guard, at the draft. He was the best player available at that position, so they made the most rational decision. In a perfect world I would spend my entire career with the Blazers, but it seems obvious to me now that we have gone our separate ways" began number 0.
"The three best opponents I’ve played against are Steph Curry, Kyrie Irving and Russell Westbrook. There are a lot of really strong point guards in this league, but I don’t think anyone is better than me. I think I’m the best point guard in the NBA" Damian Lillard chipped in.
