Federico Bernarndeschi spoke again to Sky about his move to Canada: “There were many offers, but my choice would remain the same. I played at the best club in Italy, I grew as a man and a footballer in Turin. I won so much with the Juve jersey and with the national team, I needed new stimuli in a new part of the world.”

Juventus chapter: “In these five years I went through difficult moments. In the year with Pirlo with I played with continuity because I could not adapt to the style of play, but in Juventus I played so much. I always earned my space, of course there are always difficult moments but I always overcame them with my head held high. In the worst year of my career, the one with Pirlo, I turned around by winning the European Championship as a star player. In a club, when there is a project, everything is much easier. When there are these changes of coaches, everything becomes more difficult. Maybe I was penalized in this, I changed roles many times, but I have no regrets. I got along well with everyone, even with Pirlo: I have a beautiful relationship with Andrea.”
