MotoGp, Luca Marini: "On the new tracks I am always ahead"
Ducati Mooney VR46 team centaur Luca Marini commented satisfied with his first time in Friday’s free practice in India: "When I arrive on a new track I always go strong, I also remember in Indonesia".
"The track è very difficult, there’è little grip, forò I managed to interpret it well. On Thursday we studied it trying to understand the lines, today we worked first on the electronics and then on the tires".
Valentino Rossi's brother then revealed to Sky his method for tackling the new corners: "I listen to my coach Idalio Gavira, who always tells me 'take off hard, go long in the gravel or dirt and then, when you try again, a little less': that way it's quicker to learn the braking point…".
Marini signed the time of 1:44.782, ahead of Jorge Martin and Aleix Espargaró.
