Valentino Rossi, what a crazy comeback: the Doctor back on the podium
The driver of the Bmw Wrt Valentino Rossi, in the company of teammate Maxime Martin, took his third podium finish of the season in the Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe by finishing third in race 1 of the Zandvoort round.
The Doctor è came in behind the Mattia Drudi/Ricardo Feller (Audi) pairing, now championship leaders, and Ferrari duo Albert Costa/Thierry Vermeulen.
It was a spectacular comeback by the Tavullia driver and Martin, who climbed up to third place from 15th on the grid.
Sunday scheduled race 2 that will assign the championship title: Valentino hopes for another victory in the last race of the season.
