Sofia Goggia, Federica Brignone and other Azzurri women train on Austrian glaciers
Training on the Austrian glacier of Hintertux for the Elite women’s team, busy from Friday, Oct. 20 to Thursday, Oct. 26 for a period of giant slalom training.
Technical director Gianluca Rulfi has summoned Federica Brignone, Marta Bassino, Elena Curtoni, Sofia Goggia, Laura Pirovano, Roberta Melesi, Elisa Platino and Asja Zenere, followed by coaches Davide Brignone, Daniele Simoncelli, Luca Agazzi, Giorgio Pavoni, Paolo Bianchetti and Thierry Marguerettaz.
Also working on the track are the World Cup slalom racers, engaged in Pitztal Oct. 22-27. Head coach Roberto Lorenzi has summoned Martina Peterlini, Marta Rossetti, Beatrice Sola, Anita Gulli and Lara Della Mea, with coach Giancarlo Bergamelli and trainer Pietro Taricco.
