There are three Italians in the quarterfinals of the’WTA 250 on the Tunisian cement in Monastir. In fact, Lucia Bronzetti and Lucrezia Stefanini have been joined by Jasmine Paolini.
The 27-year-old from Tuscany, fresh from entering the top 30, beat Croatian Petra Marcinko, world number 140, in the second round with a score of 6-4 3-6 6-2 after almost two hours of battle.
