Jorge Martin has Pecco Bagnaia in his sights: ‘Opportunity not to be missed’
The awareness è that of having to fix something psychologically.
Jorge Martin frames the duel with Pecco Bagnaia for the MotoGP championship title, after two weekends in which he è proved fast but lost points to his rival due to some mistakes. So, on arrival in Buriram, the Spaniard joked to the microphones of 'Sky Sport' paraphrasing the saying "few ideas, but confused". "On a mental level I have to be more centered. I have a lot of ideas, but they are also a bit'confused", said the Team Pramac rider with a smile.
Martin admitted that at this stage of the season he has shown more speedà than Bagnaia, but also more propensity for mistakes: "For sure this has made a difference. Forò at the end of the day, the speed is there, and thatè is the most important thing. Some time to catch up again there'è. Not much, but a little bit there is. The battle è difficult, there are so many things going through your mind. Especially when you are so close. You don't know if you'll have another opportunity like that, that's why I don't want to let it slip away and I want to give at least my 100 percent until the end".
Finally Martin analyzed the Buriram track, showing optimism ahead of the Thai Grand Prix: "The first, second and last corners are very violent, but the rest è very smooth. I think it is similar to the track in Japan, where I went very fast. So the hope è to do the same results here".
