European short track, trio of gold for Pietro Sighel

Pietro Sighel crowned his hat trick in Gdansk, winning the European title in the 1000 meters as well. Today's gold medal adds to those won yesterday in the 500 and 1500.

In the 1000, the Italian movement also files Mattia Antonioli's 8° place overall (second in the B final). Luca Spechenhauser è however, was disqualified in the quarterfinals.

The European Championships in Gdansk ended with the silver medal of the women’s relay team consisting of Chiara Betti, Elisa Confortola, Gloria Ioriatti and Arianna Sighel è settled at the place of honor, surpassed only by the Netherlands.

The mixed relay, on the other hand, finished fourth, with Pietro Sighel unfortunately falling in an attempt to make the overtake that would have been necessary to clutch success.
