MotoGp test, Marc Marquez bluntly: “Difficult comeback”
Marc Marquez comments on ninth place in the first day of MotoGp testing
Marc Marquez was one of the most expected, if not the most expected, rider of the first day of MotoGp testing in Sepang, Malaysia: the ninth best time overall, however, says little about the Catalan rider’s potential on Team Gresini’s Ducati, given also several problems that affected both bikes on which he è climbed.
"The return to the saddle è was a bit difficult – Marquez told 'As' -. I had four technical problems, all different, that occurred on both my bikes. The team però reacted immediately and in an excellent way, this è something that gives me great confidence".
"To Alex (his brother as well asé teammate, ed.) nothing è happened, instead – added the number 93 -. However è it è better that these problems have occurred now, so è that we can immediately understand how to react. Certainly è it was a strange day, è however it is important that the team reacted in the best way".
As for the next two days of testing, Marquez put his hands out: "On this first day,” he explained, “we had to test my position on the bike, and è one aspect that we clarified. In day-2 and day-3 we will focus instead on fine-tuning. We will not be among the first".
