Cagliari, official Marko Rog to Dinamo Zagreb

Marko Rog is leaving Cagliari. It was announced è by the same club rossoblù through an official statement. "Cagliari Calcio announces the transfer of the right to the sports performance of the player Marko Rog, who moves to Dinamo Zagreb on loan until January 1, 2025" reads the note issued by the Sardinian club.

He arrived in the island in the summer of 2019 and scored his first goal in the Rossoblù on his debut, on August 18, in the Coppa Italia win against Chievo Verona. In November, he scored his first league goal in the 5-2 home win against Fiorentina. Last season with 21 appearances and 1 goal – the winning goal scored at the’Unipol Domus against Modena (1-0) – he made his valuable contribution to the team’s immediate ascent to Serie A.

During these years he has made 79 appearances with Cagliari. He is now beginning a new stage in his career: a return to Croatia, in the team in which he è was already a protagonist, to play continuously and regain his best form.
