Letizia Paternoster, the protagonist of a bad fall at the European Track Cycling Championships in Munich, reassured her fans on social media. “I try to smile and I try to think about the big goals in front of me,” the Italian cyclist wrote.
“I broke my collarbone in three places and had a head injury. I will be back soon. Thank you all for your messages,” are the words of the reigning world champion, who is already looking to future goals after the big scare in Germany.
The girl, hospitalized in Munich, spent the night in the hospital for observation and has no recollection of the accident.
